Professional sports besides being a sport they are a product as well. Jai alai same as football or baseball is a product.
Nowadays, jai alai is not having the success that used to. Not too many years ago though big crowds attended frontons. Why is that? Has the sport changed itself?
Not really. Jai alai as a product continues being the same as in the past. And the product is still a good one.
Jai alai is not a boring sport, quite the opposite. It´s an amazing sport for the first time visitor. Fast, technical, power, players' ability… it's being a successful sport int the past years.
The industry has lost the crowds of the past and does not know how to get them back. Product by itself can do nothing. You have to offer people. It is a must for that to have presence in the media.
