Nice article,I really enjoyed reading it.You really picked a great subject, and with "The Amazing Danny" having a jai-alai career that spanned some 33 years that alone is a monumental accomplishment.
It seems only fitting that he should retire from the same fronton he made his pro debut at,Fort Pierce in 1976
The following is from The Amazing Danny's Miami profile. One of the smallest players on the orster,Danny posses the biggest heart.Always hustling on the court,he uses his intelligence and vast experience to win points with 100% effort. Was a 3-time French Amateur Champion. It was always a pleasure to watch him play.
JaiAlaiUSA wishes Danny the best in his retirement, although in the back of my mind I wouldn't be surprised to see Danny take to the court again, after all he really is "Amazing"
Danny was and is an amazing player, always enjoyable to watch and never to be discounted from a match. I learned much about the sport by watching him in Hartford many years ago. Best of juck and Godspeed.
